Individual Counselling
How Can I Help?
Counselling is a type of therapy where you can talk about your feelings in a confidential and safe place.
It can be used to help many different mental health conditions including anxiety, depression and addictions.
Anxiety
Anxiety is a normal and often healthy emotion. However, when a person regularly feels disproportionate levels of anxiety, it can cause problems.
Depression
Depression is classified as a mood disorder. It may be described as feelings of sadness, loss, or anger that interfere with a person’s everyday activities.
Addictions
No matter what kind of addiction you have, they all can take a serious toll on your physical and psychological well-being.
Autism
Autism is a neurological difference in the brain in how it perceives and processes information. Autistic people can have varying support needs, some needing full-time care and support and others being completely independent.
ADHD
ADHD is a very misunderstood neurological disorder that impacts part of the brain that helps us plan, focus on and execute tasks. It continues into adulthood but most learn better ways of coping with it. It can make people act impulsively and take risks. It can also help people hyper-focus, where they can lose hours doing something that they are very interested in and then not be able to focus at all on some tasks. They can easily become distracted and can be disorganised.
